Book review (Mulan)

"Everything is all right," she thinks. "I'm a woman but nobody knows my secret." (p. 18)

In ancient China, there was a young woman, Hua Mulan. She lived with there family in a little village. One day, the Emperor announced that the enemy were now here in their country and he needed a big army. Then her father was on the list which showed who join to the battle. However he was too old to fight and he was in ill. So she decided to go to the battlefield instead of him...

Mulan was too cool. I want to call her Chinese Valkyrie. Although I understand it is nonsense to suspect, I wonder why all other soldiers couldn't notice she was a woman. But fighting woman is our roman, isn't it?

My Week

I had been always in my house because these were bad weather. I'm worry about when I can make my clothes wash and out to dry. There are many clothes waiting for washing. I wish there are more sunny days.

Book review (Puss in boots:The Gold of San Ricardo)

"A good friend is better than gold," she said."Thanks!" said Puss."Now we have to stop Humpty!" (p. 21) 

Puss in boots wanted to get the magic beans back from Jack and Jill. Then he met Kitty Softpaws who were good at stealing and his old friend Humpty Dumpty. Humpty had a plan to become rich by these.It was that they steal the golden goose living on top of the beanstalk and sell golden eggs. At first Puss didn't want to cooperate with them but he accepted unwillingly.They stolen it and got a lot of golden eggs. However, next day he was betrayed by Humpty...

This story is based on 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. However on this story, he is like a bad man. But Humpty is more worse! It's terrible to betray his old friend.
Puss and Kitty are too cool. I love them.

My Week

I have been making some plots of novels. I finished making structures of stories vaguely. One is a letter style and the another is that makes something change. I want to complete writing them by this weekend.

Book review (The Josefina Story Quilt)

"Josefina may be old," he said,
"but she is a humdinger of a watchdog." (p. 54)

Josefina was an old hen which is Faith`s pet. Her family were going to move to California. She wanted to take her but it was rejected. For she was too old to lay eggs and too tough to eat. However she couldn't give up and finally she could persuaded her family to take her to there. And the time had come to leave to California...

The way of California was so long and they encountered many troubles. Some of them was caused by Josefina but she also helped them.  The brave of her and the last must move you.

My Week

I often drew illustrations by color pencils. At first I began to use it instead of drawing digital pictures but now I enjoy using it. I may up some illustrations if I want to show you. (Perhaps that time will never come...)

Book review (A Good Friend)

He looks at me and smiles.He says, "You are more than a good friend to me." (p. 21)

 One day, Eric visited his friend, Yoko and induced her to go to the beach. She wanted to do but her mother didn't allow. However, against to mother's words, she went to the beach_____not knowing to that she had a bad time later.

Although I could understand Yoko's mother's thinking, I thought it bias to judge Eric's personality only from his looks. Only I can say is he was a real good guy.
